They are very rare in the wild. Because of their bright white fur, they stand out very well for predators to find and thus, they tend to get eaten before they have a chance to mature and reproduce. It is also possible you found a released (dumped) domesticated (fancy) mouse. Some people buy them to breed to provide food for snakes and other reptiles (or even for raptors) and if stopped doing it, may have just released a bunch in the countryside or near where you found it.

Thank you very much for your reply. Yeah, I figured she is a domesticated mouse because she is very tame. This is the 2nd one which has been found around here.
