Typically rodent external parasites won't even try to bite/feed off a human, especially when there are mice for them around already. However this doesn't mean it can't happen. To check your new mouse for parasites, you should take it to a vet who can take a good close look. Many rodent fleas/ticks/etc are very small and very hard to see with the naked eye. The itchy bumps could be due to the mouse's nails scratching your skin, though I would suspect you would have noticed this already when handling your other mice. Same with an allergic reaction.

I can't think of anything else that would cause your skin to react the way it is, unless what the mouse was housed on before you brought it home, is what you are reacting to (assuming it has only been a short period of time since you bought this new mouse. If more than a day or two, whatever the mouse was housed in before, would have been rubbed off or cleaned off by the mouse).

LOL it sounds to me like what happens when my mice climb up my body.. they have very sharp little nails so when they climb it leaves little red itchy bumps from them digging their nails in to try to hold on.. nothing to worry about =]
