Genitics is fun

So I've been breeding my own mice for feeders from almost the start of the year. I got my mice from PetSmart as I like to use "fancy" mice instead of the albinos. Anyways one of my Petsmart mice females has actually started giving me long haired mice (so cute when fur rubbed wrong) and the same female who gives me long furred mice has also gives me whiskerless mice. They have just a patch of pink flesh where whiskers should be. And it's not the whole litter either. Like 1-3 are long haired and about half with normal fur length are whisterless. Has anyone had anything like this? I'll try and get some pics sometime if anyone wants to see.

Awww they sound cute =] you should put pics up.. I breed my mice just to get different patterns and such(and for feeders) and about a week ago my female gave birth to the first brindle mouse with a white blaze(stripe running from nose to forehead/top of head) and a white patch he is SOO cute lol my old stud would produce long-haired babies with my different females =P
