Acquiring blue rats

brianray Feb 27, 2007 12:59 AM

I have 4 rats now but my girlfriend decided she really likes the blues. I am curious about places they are available or any ideas on how to locate them.

Thanks in advance,
Brian

Petsmart has them occasionally, which is where I got the blue that started my line.

The feeder breeders at the local show tend to have them pretty often as well. They're pretty common these days/

Where are you located? I have LOTS of blue rats. I am in Reno, NV.

Google RMCA or AFRMA... I forgot which one has the breeder listings, but one of them has a long list of breeders all over the U.S., and you could call the ones near you and see if they breed blue rats.
