Last night she finally joined the rest of them & started using me for a jungle gym.
She is still standoffish but she didn't try to jump out of my hands when I carried her to the playground or when I carried her home.
She's finally coming around & much sooner than I had hoped for.

Maybe it's because they are so much happier in the Martin's cages. I have 2 R680s attached to one another so they have 2 huge rooms to play in, with a wheel in each cage. There's a lot to do at night and they have a ton of room compared to the crappy baby cage they were in.
Ahhh it's great!!

That's great news! She must finally be realizing that you aren't too bad after all. I can imagine she is much happier having two great big rooms to play in. Just out of curiousity what do you use for a baby cage?

My baby cage is a cage I got when I adopted Abby in 2005. I named her Abby because her owner had abandoned her. She was old, obese, with tumors & slated for euthanasia but my vet decided to operate instead. Then she gave me Abby but she didn't live very long. She also had lice, the loss of blood may have been part of her cause of death but
However I got to keep the cage, it's a 3 story rodent cage that I think came from Pet's Mart. It's ok but compared to a Martin's it's a piece of crap LOL
I just looked it says All Living Things on it, I guess that's the brand name.
It comes in really handy for babies though! You never know when I'll need to rescue something so it's nice to have around.
