UGH I AM SO MAD!

coluberking25 Feb 28, 2007 11:25 PM

Well I took out clubber and once again saw the lice crawling around. There were quite a few. GEEZ IT MAKES ME SO DARN MAD THAT I HAD TO BE THE ONE TO WIND UP WITH A CUTE LITTLE RAT INFESTED WITH LICE!!! NOW I HAVE TO PROBABLY SPEND MONEY(UNLESS A BATH WOULD BE SAFE FOR HIM) WHICH I HAVE LITTLE OF! Sorry I'm just venting off in here because I know you guys probably understand how frustrating this is.

Yes it is frustrating.. try calling around & see if you can get a sample of Revolution. Ya never know sometimes vets will give you what you need for little if they understand what the problem is.

There still are very few vets that treat exotics.
In the 70s I had a sick green anole, there was no such thing as a vet who knew how to treat that back then. I went to a vet, told him my problem showed him what my book said needed to be done so he did that for me & I paid practically nothing.
Of course the lizard didn't make it because books then were horrible but... we tried. :-x

Try the olive oil treatment I posted in the other thread. It's very cheap and it's supposed to do a great job. Otherwise you probably will have to spend money on a vet... but that's just part of having pets!
