Unfortunatley it is NOT that Clubber came back to life and is suddenly healthy again.

I was offered two rats by my friend who really feels like she can't spend time with them anymore. Unfortunately, they aren't the colors I really want(I want a black rat) but that's no big deal. The one's a hooded that I've played with before. She knows her name and apparently can play basketball(put the ball in the hoop for a treat I believe). The other is an albino that was raised to be a feeder and is very shy. When she's out(if you can manage to pick her up because she runs when you try to) she will poop on you, so obviously she's gonna need some work. You guys think I should take them? And of course I would really scrub out the cage to get rid of everything!

Don't worry about the colors. I've has rats who's color I wasn't particularly fond of but I loved them anyway.
When they're handled often they stop that fear pooping.

When I've had a problem with parasites I've used bleach to scrub the cages down then I went over them with dog flea/tick shampoo & left the suds on for a few minutes before I rinsed well.
Then go over with the bleach again & to keep bleach from corroding the metal you can spray it with a vinegar & water solution before you rinse with water again.
Let it dry really well & you should be good to go.

One thing about "going" on you. After your rats learn to love you sometimes they will pee on you. A dribble here, a dribble there.. they do like to mark you as their territory.
You just have to keep a towel handy & get used to it.

The basketball player sounds like a lot of fun! If it were me I'd take them... if you really like them, why not?
