I own three manx rats right now and I was wondering if anyone here has any or has ever had any? My manx's are for pets only because I have noticed that they are more aggresive than a "normal" rat and I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this also.

I guess nobody has a manx rat.. I wonder about something though.
Do you need to watch the temperature for them? Do they get warmer or colder faster than the rats with tails?
I know rat tails help regulate their temperature, that's why they have basically hairless tails.
If they don't have a tail.. I always wonder how do they regulate that for themselves?

What about balance? I suppose they are able to balance just fine since being tailless is something they were born with so to them it's just normal.
Like my Sofia Lorat I adopted her as a baby when she was very sick with ear infection. That caused her to have a permanent head tilt but to her it was just normal so she didn't have a real problem with it.

Anyway got any pics of your manx? I'd love to see them!

I had a manx pop up in my colony once years ago. Meanest thing in the world it was...compounded by the fact there was no tail to use to grab and move with when needed lol.
