Such little piglets. Rats are so funny when they eat. I like sharing my food with them at the table, they'll sit up on their hind legs and lean over the bowl and take little bits. So civilized! My dogs just take stuff and run off with it. So do the kids. But the rats... they'll actually sit down and eat with me.

My favorite was when they'd run off with a little piece of something, hide it, come back and look at you like, "Hey! Where's mine?" I had one smart girl (Rosie) who'd sit in the hiding spot eating while the other rats did all the work.

Also fun- when I didn't feel like sharing and Rosie would grab my bottom lip with both hands, pull down and help herself to whatever was in my mouth. They're so smart.

LOL... or when they take the treat and look at me like that before even setting the treat down.
Then I usually give them a second(or third) one and watch them try to stuff it in their mouth :P

Personally I've always liked to watch them stack Cheerios on their bottom teeth as they try to abscond with as many as they can LOL!!

Rosie sounds like one brainy little girl!! I mentioned on another group I'm on that I read on Fark.com about some guy who was cooking meth with a toaster in his bedroom closet, and when the toaster caught on fire the guy drove to Wal-Mart to buy a fire extinguisher (but only after he'd tried to put it out with window cleaner... which likely contained FLAMMABLE alcohol). Then we've got these little rats who have honest-to-goodness common sense!!! It makes me lose a little faith in humanity... while at the same time making me glad as can be that I have five wonderful rats in my laundry room who are both sharp as a tack and sweet as sugar. Aren't rats wonderful???

That's the best Pop Tart ad I've ever seen. You should consider work in advertising.

Indeed... you've just sold a box of Pop Tarts!! I haven't seen those before. They look good. Too bad I'm toasted at the moment or I'd take a little trip to Wal-Mart.
