Monday one of our tortoise eggs hatched so on Tuesday I went to the vet to take pictures.
While I was there we talked about a lot of things, I saw a lot of her horrible cases that she's working on right now. One of them was a little black hooded rat girl who looked like my Sofia Lorat looked when I first adopted her.. horrible ear infection that left her with a permanent head tilt for the rest of her life. This little girl isn't blue like Sofia but she was sitting with her head in a not right position like Sofia.
Just as I figured, this little rat came from the same store Sofia did. She can't be sold like this so they don't want her back.
Well so the vet had one of her employees call me a few minutes ago, the rat's infection is cleared up but her head tilt is permanent & can I take her?
Can I say no?
Yeah in my dreams, LOL so I'll be picking her up tomorrow. Vet swears she is no longer contagious but I will be quarantining her for a heck of a lot longer than I did these newer babies.
The good thing about Sofia was that as time went by her head tilt got a lot better. It never went away but it did get better so maybe that'll happen for this one too. I hope so!
Can I get that sucker tattoo removed from my head or is it permanent too?
I think it is..
