Check Your Breath

Last night I had the strangest experience with the bRATS...
Baby Dolly the one who's the most affectionate & is always climbing all over me, who'd been climbing the cage walls to get my attention yesterday afternoon when I was turtle tank cleaning in their room was all of a sudden terrified of ME! Tanya was more skittish again too.
I just could not figure out what was going on until I realized LOL it must have been my breath.
We're having a problem with the dog- has nothing to do with the food recall but it does have to do with something he ate & isn't passing..
Well we left the vet's so late & DH had to work last night after working all day.. I decided to buy dinner on the way home from the vet's.
I bought Taco Villa food, it's fast food, it's ok not great, it will fill up that empty space you need filling, but the hot sauce they give you is extremely smelly. When you meet someone you know & talk to them you can smell Taco Villa on them if they've eaten there hee hee!
I got up & brushed my teeth & she warmed back up to me. By late last night she'd forgotten that she'd been afraid of me.. so my only conclusion is that it had to be the food I ate!
Too funny!!

They really are sensetive to smells that are different, aren't they?

It was either that, or they were mad you didn't share.

One of Ruby's last meals was swordfish and veggies from my doggie bag. I know yours get fortune cookies when you get Chinese, iirc. Since I've had a bird and rats, I haven't had a fortune cookie for myself. I need to ask for extras.

What a little brat!! When my rats get anywhere near my mouth they want to stick their heads in and lick my teeth, especially if I've just eaten something. I don't let them do that much but they do get a kick out of it.

What's funny is you'll probably start brushing your teeth after you eat at that place, for no other reason than to avoid irritating the rats!

Yeah same here.. they usually try to shove their entire heads into my mouth but on that one day.. no way.

Yes I have started brushing my teeth every evening before I get them out so that this never happens again LOL!!!
