I have been using wood shavings but I have found out I cant handle it as I am allergic to it. What is a good non-wood shaving bedding that is safe for my little boys?

Care Fresh!
I love that stuff, hate the wood shavings myself.
Except for aspen shavings wood shavings are bad for rodents anyway.. the cedar & pine will eventually kill the rodents so why it's sold as bedding I'll never understand!

I always liked the CareFresh Ultra (the white kind) best. It seems to be the least dusty, imo.

Carefresh is good. I just finished a bag of Total Comfort and it's really dusty, so avoid that. You could also try Yesterday's News cat litter. It's not as soft but you can just give them some cloth strips for their bed. It's made from recycled paper.

Let me say one thing about Yesterday's News.. they started making one that is scented.
If you do try that brand get the unscented one.
Cell Sorb is similar to YN & a lot of rat people like Cell Sorb.. it's not available around here so I haven't used it myself. If you can find that it'd be ok.
