Hi folks; Well, things have been very busy at my house lately. I found a puppy, he will leave his mom in a couple of weeks and come live with me. And then just tonight I got an email from a lady over in Appleton Wisconsin who has a persian kitten I had been talking to her about quite awhile ago. Her circumstances have changed and she wonders if I am interested in him. Which of course I am. I just don't know an affordable way to get him the 500 miles from Appleton WI to me here in Minnesota. Pet transport companies are really HIGH and so I'm looking for any other ideas anyone might have. Truckers? Road trippers? Any ideas?

Now. Back to the rat girls. Lucy had to have her nails clipped the other day. She didn't sob or carry on, but she got mad and actually turned her back on me, and pouted! I had to laugh, in spite of myself. I was persona non grata to her for the rest of the evening and all of a sudden my son was her new best friend. Mercenary little twerp!

CongRATS on the puppy & the kitten. I have no ideas about transport.. hopefully someone here will?
I hope you do find a way to work it out.

Pouting rats LOL!! They can be so darn funny!

Hi;

Lucy was the main "pouter." She actually turned her back on me and sat there, and would not even turn for a treat. Little stinkum. She is teaching her little sister a whole lot of stuff. LOL.

On the kitty, so far the pet services I have tried have quoted me from 435. to over 1,000. to get him 500 miles. Crazy. I think I am out of luck unless I can find someone driving from WI to MN. That bites - he is the PRETTIEST white persian with blue eyes..................his mom and dad got divorced and he needs more than she can do right now.

I'm going to go check out her local newspapers and maybe put an ad in. Tourist season is starting, maybe someone is making a trip nearby.

Good grief! Those prices for flying are just unreal!
Man could they please make it more difficult? sheesh!
