Has anyone tried this?

PHRatz Jul 24, 2007 01:35 PM

Yesterday I went to buy Carefresh & saw this Soft-Sorbent from Kay-Tee. I "think" it may be their version of Cell Sorb.. which is something I never could buy here in the first place.
I bought a bag of it to try but having just cleaned the rats it'll be the weekend before I try it.
I just wonder if anyone has used it & what they think of it.
If not, I'll let you know what I think of it when I get around to using it.

Maann it's been a week from H E double hockey sticks around here.. just something going on all the time. I am TOO darn busy this time of year & I don't like that! LOL

If it's the stuff I'm thinking of (little grey softer pellet thingies?) then I hated it. I got a bag from Jane when I adopted Belle from her. it didn't absorb anything and smelled really fast.

I remember little Belle.....awwww a walk down memory lane..

I hope this isn't the same stuff but I only bought a small bag & thought I'd mix it with the Carefresh & see.
If it doesn't work out I'm only out 5 bucks.

We saw that bedding too and were wondering if it was any good.
Cel sorb is so dusty, I was afraid it would be like that.
Let me know how it works, I'm always looking for something softer for our hairless.

I will post after I've used it & let ya know what I think.
It looks soft, but so far I've never found anything that beats the odor control of Carefresh. If this stuff gets stinky too fast then it's outta here!
