Looking for a breeder

GrotesqueBurgess Jul 26, 2007 09:38 PM

Hello, I'm located in Mount Juliet, Tennessee and I'm looking for a good rattery around here. I can't seem to find any at all.
Does anybody know of one or more that have websites?

I found breeders in my state by using Google.
Just google in rat breeder with a comma then your state & see what comes up.
I've never gotten any from a rattery like that though.. they're all too far away or don't ever bother to respond...

that's my problem. All the ratteries I've found via search engine or breeder lists seem to be "out of buisness".

I was hoping that someone on these forums would know of a TN rattery that was still going strong.
Or more preferrably, someone who was on this forum lived in TN and breeds rats or has some adults for sale.

If they did they can't say so. It's a violation of the Terms of Service to offer anything for sale on the forums here.
However, it seems to be the case that most ratteries you find online are out of business, won't email you back or whatever.
Ask your vet, a lot of times your own vet will have an idea about who's breeding what locally, same goes for a lot of pet stores and sometimes school teachers who teach science classes.
You may be able to find something locally just by asking around.

I am a breeder. I "specialize" in blues, dumbos, nudes, double rexes, rexes, and dwarfs. But I am in Reno, NV and have no website. I would love to sell them for what they are worth and to people that can really appriciate their beauty but the shipping is such a pain in the bum. If I had internet at my house I would make a site. I live way out in the boonies and it would be about $100 a month for the net.
