Suggestions?

My critter room is completed, we moved the aquatic turtles and the indoor box turtles back in yesterday but not the rats yet. I need to find something to set them on.

Their cage has been sitting on 5' long & 3' wide shelf that was held up off the floor with cinder blocks. I'm not putting those cinder blocks on the new laminate flooring.
I'd thought about those plastic milk crates that are sold as file boxes in office supply stores but they look so cheapo.

I could put them in the room on the floor but I don't want their cages sitting directly on the floor so I have a slight problem for now.

Anyone have a good idea for something to set 2 Martin's R680s that are connected? I kind of don't want a utility table but I can't think of anything else.

What about suing plastic storage bins with a piece of wood between them? It would keep the cages off the floor and you'd have more storage.

you could get a plastic table...like the heavy duty banquet ones. We got one for like $20 here and use it for christmas and family gatherings. Take a vinyl table cloth and toss it over it to make it pretty and hide the space underneath and you have cages at a good height, with tons of storage space hidden beneath and you can just wipe off the tablecloth and replace it seasonally if you want...walmart always has cute plastic table cloths for the different holidays for like $3 a piece.

ok so that was one HUGE runon sentence that sounds like it was written by a 12 yr old. You get the point though heheh

Rachel & Meg I like both ideas. Storage space under them is a great idea because we had a 9 drawer dresser in that room before the fire, and now that it's out of there because the new flooring was installed... I like that room without the dresser.
Another dilema I'd had was if we get rid of the dresser where will I store my pet supplies that are in it?
Hidden in storage boxes or under a tablecloth sounds like a plan!
Thanks a lot- I'm not a good decorator, not good at arts & crafts, so I have a hard time coming up with good ideas LOL
Both ideas are very helpful, thanks a bunch!
