I just got a new baby rat (a free adoption from Petco)... he only has one ear. I've named him Vangough. He's light brown and also has some barbering of the hair on his head and snout. He's so adorable! I'll post pics when I actually get my digicam fixed.

Do you know what he born without an ear or did something happen to him after he was born?
I have a blind in one eye dog, he was born that way.
I love those poor animals that other people don't want!

I had a chick with one eye hatch yesterday. I hope it makes it and is a girl

I'm not sure if he was born that way or not. I would opt for the second option though, judging by the barbering marks. He's got one little part of ear that is about a centimeter long and pencil-lead thick just randomly jutting off his head. Pictures will come as soon as I can afford a new camera.... should be soon.

I think I meant whether he was born without an ear, not what he born.

I finally got the new digicam, so I rushed to get picts of Vangough. I'm just getting used to the camera and he didn't want to sit still, so fogive the bad quality of the images.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW what a little cutie! I love his name too. Grats to you for getting a special baby and grats to him for getting a loving family. Can't wait to see him as he grows
