I didn't do it! Can't believe it LOL

I took the class to that store to buy rodents and actually did NOT buy 2 more rats for myself! That's shocking even to ME! LOL

However I did buy 2 rats for the school which I plan to adopt in Dec. when the semester is over lol. The Dr. my boss, wants all of the rodents to be adopted out when this semester is over so that during the rest of the year when there are no lab animal classes those rodents don't have to sit there ignored for no good reason.

They are adorable!! One is a mink mismarked Irish & the other is a beige self, neither are dumbo. They're very young & everyone is playing with them because they are too cute so they're already very tame and getting lots of attention.

One reason why I didn't want to bring 2 back home for myself right now is that I still don't have the animal room back together.
Sunday we went out & bought a utility table, so that is the way we're going to go with setting the cages back up in their room.
Now I need to get it done & haven't had time just yet.

I can't wait for Dec! hee hee

Rats on lay away hee hee.
I like this arrangement because since they are at another place they are being quarantined.

I like too that I told the sales clerk that I wanted smaller rats, I'd say they're about 2 months old so they're very very cute. I also told her no black, no white because I've noticed that people who don't know like rats tend to be repulsed by PEWs, they hate the "red eyes" and they tend to feel the same way about black fur colors. It's working!!!

This morning the one woman in my class who just cannot STAND rats because they make her go ewwwwww told me that as much as she can't stand them.. these 2 girls are very cute & she's warming up to them.
I was right to pick pretty colors because I want these people to leave this class in Dec. feeling like they were completely wrong about how they viewed rodents when they first started the class.

I get to have to pretty new girls for me too.... if all goes as planned.
I played with them this morning, they're very sweet, not wild in any way & I can't wait until they move here!
