Kris..sorry for the slow reply, didn't know anyone had posted, and forgot to check back in!!! I am pretty new to rehabbing, but can tell you what I have seen w/ crows. Mind you these have been fledglings I have seen worked with, so it may not apply, but will offer anyhow!! Either dog or cat food soaked in water so it is mushy seems to work great, just pop it in they're mouth and they gulp it down, not sure on quantities though...I suspect until they stop begging, but not sure on that. Any rehabbers near you that could help out with that?? Wish I could tell you more, but I am new to this, so help from me is pretty minimal. Good luck, and again, sorry for replying so late. Hope the baby is ok!!

I have had a baby crow once.. Crows are scavengers, so you could virtualy feed it almost anything. I would stay away from breads for now though. Proteins...I used a blender when he was really small because their croupe havent developed enough to take in roughage. hamburger, cheaper meats, if you can get squirrel or rabbit or venison, please do so. Since they are road kill warriors, and usualy those are the loosers. This doesnt mean let the meat age...ick no. fresh is the best. How old is your crow about, does he have most of his feathers? or is it down yet? what are your plans when he is ready to fly? Curious since I know where my lil baby is at.
