Only one eye cleared up from being foggy looking.

Luckiefool420 Oct 12, 2003 12:43 AM

I just recently I got my snake last tuesday. about a day after I got him its eyes looked foggy, like it was going to shed soon. Two days ago the right eye cleared up and looks normal but the left one did not. And now it has a brownish gold color to it but it doesn't cover the eye quite as much as when it looked whiter. Is their something wrong or does it just happen this way sometimes? Also his beely doesn't look that pink anymore. Does it normally do that before it sheds? Can a snake start the cycle then not shed? thanks for the help.

He will probably shed in the next day or two... it is normal for them to look like they are going to shed, and then look normal again for about 48 hours prior to shed.
