Let me ask you guys this, how do I get started for becoming a rehabber?

I got an e-mail from an old friend that is currently a wildlife rehabber. She mainly does opossums but she does other things too. Since she is really busy and she has this weird dog, no one can visit her so she reccommended me to a friend of hers to learn from kinda like an apprenticeship. So in the summers, I will be doing some rehab work!
