Need help with an injured nestling

rjward97 Apr 28, 2006 07:13 PM

Just found a nestling cactus wren injured, laying in the street. It is missing 2 toes. We brought it inside out of the heat and offered it water, as well as half dozen mealworms. It gobbled them up eargerly.

We are looking for a rehabber in the high desert of California to care for it, until it is ready or able to be released. As well as and info that will help us with him/her until then.

Thanx
Roxanne
