i am currently using dried out bed a beast. but i am concerned about resperatory infection. should i have to worry when using bed a beast? should i use carpet? i dont really like carpet cuz its so hard to get perfectally clean. is aspen shavens a good choice? i guess if all else failed i would use paper towels what do youall think?

Bed-a-beast is o.k. Aspen and or newspaper, or just papertowels are good too.

i personally use Forest Bark...good for humidity, and that natural look. But! cleanup wont be that easy, you need to have a bright light when looking for the rest of feces as it seems to blend in.

I would love to use newspaper, but have a hard time finding an unlimited supply of it. Any ideas of where I can get it cheap or for free?

Read a lot or have lots of friends like I do.

I get my unprinted newsprint from 'Moving & Storage' companies. It's cheap enough. Another source is actual Newspapers, ie the Chicago Suntimes...these printers often sell the 'end rolls', what is leftover from the printing process. It's easier to just get it from the moving companies. Scott J Michaels DVM
