How can I keep water cool in summer...please help.

ram May 16, 2003 10:51 PM

Hello, I have some fish that need to be in cold water in a fish tank, they are doing great now but if the water temperature reaches 70 or above they will die. I know during summer it will go higher than that. If anyone knows how to keep water cool without adding ice to it or some tedious way please let me know. If there is some product or something that keeps water cool please let me know. Thanks.

If it is that bad then you could try a chiller. Otherwise ice cubes in a baggie would only be temporary, and even a fan blowing over the surface will only cool it off so much. However, chillers are expensive.
