Every time there's a storm, some of my neighbor's bamboo falls into my yard. Some of it's pretty sizable, and I thought maybe I could cut it into "tunnels" for my tank, or tie it together to make a "wall."

I guess bamboo's a lot like driftwood, but I was wondering if there were any risks, or additional precautions I should take to prepare it.

I added a few pieces of bamboo a couple weeks ago. I boiled it before I added it and haven't seen any problems. Also bamboo can grow partially underwater. I plan on growing it in a Paludarium i'm working on.
