Does anyone know where to get/buy fake fish that float around the fish tank? My husband and I are currently stationed in Germany. For christmas he bought me a german coner fish tank. I'm excited to set it up. The only problem is I'm scared we might have to move again very soon. I dont think I can bring myself to finding a new home for my newly bought fish. Its just not fair to the fish. So, the best thing I can think of is putting fake fish in it with a submarine until we are more stable with our living situation.

I have only seen the fake aquariums (with fake fish) in them. It's one of those things you plug in. Sorry. Hopefully you can find some fake fish. Good luck.

I did a web search for "mechanical fish" and found http://www.waterwarehouse.com/products/product.aspx?sku=7725p&NG_urlID=9436732 whch is a koi that uses two AA batteries. They didn't say the size but I'm sure it's large.

I also tried searching for toy fish and came up with a few rubber and plastic ones. I think your best bet would to search a toy store for rubber or plastic toy fish that you could put in the tank but they'd most likely have to be suspended or weighted.

Good luck and if you get it set up, please post a picture.
