sick tiger barb

chimbakka Aug 27, 2007 11:24 AM

I thought that one of my barbs had been eating by my crayfish because I hadn't seen it for three or four days. Two days ago I saw it hiding behind the intake of my filter. I scared it out and it swam a bit then went right back. It has been there since. It will come out to eat, but spits food right back out. I know it isn't full it has not eating since I found it. I'm not sure what to make of this. None of my other fish are sick, or acting strangely. Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks for your advice/imput.

also, there is no physical evidence of illness (other than being unable to eat), just behavioural.
