Temporary housing for a froglet

Arklier Oct 12, 2003 05:43 AM

I picked up a powder blue tinc at the annual reptile show. It's about 3/4" nose to vent. I have a 20 gallon tank, but it will take me a few days to get it set up. Can anyone recommend some temporary setup in the meantime? Yes, I know I should have been more prepared, but I wasn't expecting to get a dart at the show. I was thinking about using a Glad plastic container with some moss and leaves. I've got plenty of them around because I use them to feed small snakes in, and they seem like perfect temporary quarters for a small frog.

Here is a good link for setup for baby darts http://www.saurian.net/htm/frogcare.htm, Go to kyle1745 link page in the post below, and read thrugh all the caresheets. And what are you feeding your tinc? Do you have fruitflies?
