ok i am constantly checking levels cuz i have a sick clown. Popeye, I guess. Dont know for sure. From what I've read (for a few days now) the levels could be haywire.......yup i use tetratest NH3/NH4 total ammonia test. Tealish green!!!!!!!!!! I used ammonia detox (KENT-fresh/marine) Level was good. few hrs later.......bam right back so i did a 30% water change. BTW this is a 10 gallon I set up for hospital when my clown got popeye. I used 5 gallons of waterfrom my 55 gal tank that everythings fine in. ne way. i waited awhile before retesting and its still not right!!!Grrrrrrr.... I have been hand feeding my clown for a week now. This is 2nd wk of trtmt. 1st wk was mardel maracyn-two this week I am going with Maracyn plus cuz there was no signs of getting better the 1st wk. if you'd liketo see video of fish actions my id on youtube is zgreasemonkeyd
