sick algae eater

I stopped into work today were I have a small tank with 2 goldfish and an algae eater. While he is swimming around and eating as usual, he has an appearance of red under his skin. It's almost like he is bleeding internally. Please help! I have never seen this before. What is it? I appreciate any advice.
