Hope I attached the pic correctly.

The image is not showing. You would need to have it downloaded onto a page such as photobucket. Then use the direct link on the photobucket page to insert into our Image URL.

The gravid spot may not be visible if your fish is a darker color. It's hard to say whether or not your fish is pregnant. Obviously you need to have a male, and if you have a male it would usually chase the female when she is close to giving birth. This is because he wants to eat the babies. Another sign is that the female tends to rest on the bottom of the aquarium or plants/decor in the tank.

Below is a link to a picture of a pregnant vs not pregnant platy. I only have experience with breeding guppies, but both are live bearers and share similar features as far as breeding goes.

See if you can get your picture to work. I'd be able to tell you if she is or not.

I have seen that pic b/f and read all the msg about it so I'm sure but I want to be 100% sure. Also I'm kinda scared as to whether I can take care of all of them. If you click on pic3 you see all w/the 2 males(maybe) were just added friday. I think I bought her pregnant from Walmart(laugh). I just don't know how long it will be b/f she has them. I hope a few more days won't be too late to get a breeding box and some more plants in the tank.

If you think she is, then she is. I still cannot view the image. It takes me to photobucket, but it says the image is not available. If you would really prefer my opinion, you can try emailing me the picture at phishie@pethobbyist.com. Usually the female is really, really lethargic before she has her babies, so she should be resting on decor/plants/the bottom of the tank. If your tank is heavily planted (or even has quite a few hiding places) the babies should be able to hide if they come out before you have the box. Then just try to catch them and put them in the box. Pregnancy usually lasts about 28 days if I'm not mistaken. They will have more babies, I promise. So if you don't get it on the first try, you'll get them the next.

If it makes you feel any better, my brother has had my guppy tank since I moved south, and he didn't have anything but a couple of plants and a few babies lasted long enough to grow bigger than the adult guppies' mouthes.
There's not much you can do without the breeding box/net.
