Hi, I've about a dozen carp(goldfish,) but I'm not sure if they're classified the same. I'm wanting to find out if they what exactly, is healthy for them, and if they are the same, since these carp have the color patterns of goldfish. I'm finding out, too, if I can take care of these fish, if they be carp, just the same as goldfish.

So I fed them some alga-about a handful-and they gulped it all down. I'm just wondering if you feed algae to goldfish and whether or not it's good for them.
