Hi, I have a H.frenatus and wanted to get her a buddy. Bought this one at a show and was told it was a house gecko. Can someone be more specifc as to what spp. it is? Thanks!

Im not an expert at telling what species these geckos are but that reaaly looks like a medeterrainian gecko or turkish gecko.sceintific name hemidactylus turcicus turcicus

I would agree. There are many subspecies to it so they dont always look the same. That one looks like it has spikes on its tail while the ones we have here dont. If you can get a reference book with a lot of pictures I'm sure you can match someone to her.

Yeah just about, like I said there are a few exceptions but thats the common name for it yes.
