Violet Gobie (dragon gobie)

HEMF Jun 21, 2005 11:50 PM

I've owned one since april and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about breeding these stunning fish. Even if you know how to tell which ones are male or female would help.

The only information I have read on breeding these fish is in a paper in the following article of TFH. I don't remember the details (and don't have my magazines here) but I think I recall that he used a large aquarium, salinity drops (Gobioides are normally found in strongly brackish water) and fish that were collected in the southern US. Hope that helps - good luck and let me know if you succeed!
