I'm new to the saltwater aquarium world and have been researching and reading quite a bit because I want to start my own tank. I'm a bit confused on some issues, such as filtration, because I'm finding very different opinions from books, online info, etc. What are your opinions on the following setup? I'd GREATLY appreciate any feedback/advice!!

- 29 gallon (I know bigger is better because of stability, however I currently have space restrictions. I am extremely willing and ready to work hard at maintaining optimal water conditions though!)

- Some live rock (how much...around 30 lbs?) w/ just a few fish. I'd really like a clown and a yellow tang. Maybe a yellowtail damsel. Any other small fish suggestions?

- Some hardy inverts? What would you recommend that peacefully coexist w/ the above fish choices?

- A really good skimmer. Any recommendations? Is the CPR BakPak a good choice?

- A powerhead. How strong of a powerhead do I need, and should I have 2?

- I'm most confused about what type of filtration would work best w/ this setup? I'm confused about wet/dry trickle filters, canisters, and power/biowheel filters! What brands are best?! I've read that Emperor or Penguin is a good brand.

- Of course a heater.

- Argonite sand or crushed coral for substrate. Maybe some live sand?

- A bit confused about lighting as well. I know one flourescent strip will not be adequate because of the live rock, but what type of lighting is best for the FOWLR setup?

Is this a good start? Please help! Thanks so much!
