My friend has a coral reef tank with a few small fish and is being told she need better lighting...with which we agree. The store told us to compare the wattage etc as we can buy the housing for the needed lights. Here is the info given to us: it's a 6700k 130 watt floresent 10,000 k daylight bulb. How would that bulb compare to a 130 watt compact bulb? Bottom line is we can get the housing and buy the bulbs at the fish store instead of this super duper expensive light set. She wants to include in her tank a hammer coral, frog spawn, green tree soft coral and a zooanthids (sp) All help will be appreciated!!!
