Hiya, I'm not so familiar with hermit crabs so I would really appreciate some help.

I have a friend who has a couple of hermit crabs right? I think some are dying off. She has molch for substrate, mists them everday, and feeds them bannanas, they're in a 10 gallon tanks and last I saw there were about 4-6 of them, with extra shells for hermit crabs that need new ones. She actually works at a pet store so I'm trying to offer some help. Since she seems a bit misguided...could you give me some advice to give her?

Any advice to help her out asap would be great. Thanx. Bye.

You really want to visit the Hermit Crab forum at forums.insecthobbyist.com/forum.php?catid=25.

In the meantime if all she is feeding them is bananas then they are not getting a good diet.
