good filter

jenntreanor May 04, 2006 01:28 PM

I just started my first saltwater tank. It is a 20 gallon long with 2 damsels and 2 hermit crabs along with live sand and about 20 pounds of live rock. I have a skilter 400 running on it now, but have come to find out that those filters basically suck. Just wanted a suggestion for a really good one out there. And also should I have a powerhead in there too?

I have had alot of good luck with filstar filters. But they are slightly expensive. But they are worth the money
