My anemone keeps turning itself upside down with the mouth against the sand and then shriveling up. Sometimes the disc will wave upward and I can see that his mouth is open. He just ate yesterday and now today he looks dead almost. My water chemistry is has no nitrites/nitrates/ammonia. pH 8.3.. temp 78 degrees. calcium at 420 ppm. lighting is at 3watts per gallon.... i add iodine supplements once in a while. what am I doing wrong???I can never keep an anemone alive it seems like.
A few days before he ate.. he kept turning upside down also and i'd just right him back up again. he does it all the time! is this natural?
