Clean tank with dried algae?

burunx Mar 13, 2007 07:02 AM

I have a tank that was broken down quickly and not cleaned. Is there a way to get rid of dried green and red colored algae on the acrylic?

Thanks!!

You can use soap and water or bleach, but make sure you rinse many many times. If you use bleach, rinse until you can't smell bleach anymore (not even a little bit).
