hi all I was at my lfs today and at the back of a tank was a goby, the guy there said he was a red spotted goby, freshwater,he was being battered by several large angels there so I took pity on him and brought him home,he now seems quite happy sitting on a piece of wood in my community,he is about 2 inches long with a round head and white in colour with red spots on his body and belly,he has a tinge of blue to the edge of his lower fins and yellow edges to his top fins,I have tried googling for goby pictures and still can't find him anywhere, does anyone know what he may be and how to provide the best habitat for him and what to feed him,I have read that some gobies prefer plant matter and some meat,I have plants in the tank and provide my fish with a mixed varied diet anyway, flake, pellets, frozen and live when I can,I have a community tank but also a spare tank as brackish with some mollies and placid south amazon puffers in and a few bumble bee gobies in so was thinking he could go in there if he is brackish,I could probably take a picture if that would help, cheers donna.
