on to the second tank for frogs...questions.....

kcaiman Oct 12, 2003 11:25 AM

next week at the hamburg show i am planing on getting a pair or more of frogs. one more azureus to go with my other two and this week i'll have my second tank set up in time for the show. was thinking about getting leucs because they like liveing in groups(right?) because this new tank is a 29gal. it has a creak flowing through it. now it just need everything else..moss plants etc. Heres my question... are there any other kinds of darts that will do good in groups besides the leucs? Also do leucs like is dryer or more moist?

thanks in advance!

my leucs are like most darts, and become more active with higher levels of humidity (but they are pretty active and bold all the time). as for other darts that can be kept in groups, any of the following should be fine: D. galactonotus, P. terribilis,P. aurotaenia (i have some for sale, and live in PA) P. bicolor, E. tricolor, and i think D. auratus are okay (may fight but nothing serious)
