The next time the shuttle lands, lets all get dressed up in ape suits and charge at the astronaughts yelling and ranting. That way they can try to figure out where they took a wrong turn.

I hope you and the others will stay healthy and alive over there.

By the way, haven't you got a digital camera to post some photos of you in Iraq here?

I would love to see some pic of the scenery there and you (in uniform with the M16 of course).

Because maybe it's all a fake like the moon-landing and you guys haven't left the U.S. j/k

(But the photo request is no joke).

All the best

... nice shots, thank you for sharing.

I am sure one of your comrades forced the lot to smile by unlocking the security lever of the M16 *LOL j/k

I would also be interested in the answers to the questions sobek asked. Also, do you think the AK47 are working better under the desert conditions?

I have heared that choppers have problems in the desert.

Why don't you post a pic of yourself? Then you won't need to answer the questions I've been asking you which I myself answered upon your request.

froggystyle34 Oct 13, 2003 10:32 AM

i am trying to post a pic but cant cause they are too big, i will keep trying though

lol I understand that. Got a few ?s for ya. How has everything held up over there? As far as your firearms go? Has the M16 done well in the desert environment? Does it need to be broke down and cleaned more often? I have also read of U.S. soldiers wanting to carry the AK over there instead of an M16. Can you shed a bit of light on that for me? I could see the pros and cons of both. Also is it just Special Forces that are issued the M4, and how is that holding up?

froggystyle34 Oct 14, 2003 02:52 PM

i dont know anything about the AK so i cant answer those questions. as for the m16 yeah they stay pretty clean considering the conditions...there is dirt and sand evreywhere. as far as the m4 i dont carry one, i dont really like them, they take away from the range, and accuracy of the m16.
