I'm not really sure where this should be posted, so I'm sorry if this is the wrong place.

I was out in the woods today (about 20 minutes ago) catching snakes, and, while I was walking along the path, I noticed a strange looking bird walking around. So when I got home, I did a search for 'rare louisiana birds'. One of the first pages I looked at had a picture of a bird that looked exactly like the one I had seen, and it was labeled Ivory-billed Woodpecker. I'm going to go back tomorrow (hopefully with a camera), and see if I can find it again. I'm just curious as to how rare these birds are, and if it even was an Ivory-billed. Thanks.
