Hi,
Where did she lay it? If they don't have a nestbox and she laid on the floor of the cage, you should purchase a nestbox for them. Most pet stores sell them, or you can make your own.... even a small cardboard box would be better than nothing.
If the egg is in the nestbox and you're just worried about her not incubating yet, don't worry! Most hens don't start incubating until they lay the second egg. Looking at your post I'm quite late in replying, and hopefully she's already laid one or several more and is incubating them.
If she lays them and never incubates them, there's not much you can do. She may figure it out the over time. You can't incubate them yourself unless you have an incubator, and even then I wouldn't recommend it because the newly hatched babies are almost impossibly difficult to care for.
Let us know how things went, if you get a chance! I'll check back again soon.... I haven't been on this board a while, which is why I didn't get to your question faster.
