We've just acquired yet another damaged exotic. This one has one leg. Normally our birds are hysterical, vicious and paranoid, but Buddy's actually quite sweet.
Buddy is amazingly agile. Something we've not seen is a footless bird, although we have birds who have had wings amputated.
I was encourged to read of the finch with one leg that was taken in and want to encourage people to understand that a bird with one leg is just as capable of love and live as any other two legged bird, just a little more challenged in the perch department.
