my canary broke her leg when i got home from work .all i have done is tapped her leg in place by putting it folded in her body with scotch tape under her wing .Also i put her in a small cage w/o perches and a towel to lay on .My question is this i cant afford vets .Is their any way to fix her at home and is their any home remedies for the pain i know she must be in .I thought of putting a crumb of aspirin in her water .Please any old school breeders with the home know how please help me save my little girl.her leg is snapted where the feathers start on the leg
