lighting

Hi. My birds' room doesn't have much natural lighting. I was wondering what type of lighting I should get for them?

Well of course any kind of lighting to get the room brighter would be great but the best would be full spectrum lighting. This usually comes in the flourescent style lights or I believe there are a few companies that put it out in regular style light bulbs. Of the full spectrum lighting the very best are ones that are noted to produce both UVA and UVB which is beneficial to the birds health, coloration and even temperment. If you do not want to splurge all out for the UVB UVA at least get one listed as full spectrum which gives off more ultraviolet light which can be invisible to humans but is supposed to be visible to birds and many other animals.
