Hellow forum - I love small aviary birds, and have a good sized built in semi planted aviary in my living room just for these type of birds - Its 4 feet wide, by 10 feet long, by 9 feet tall -

I have a whole bunch of different species in there - Southern Red bishops (the attached picture) Java rice birds, Red factor canaries, Avadavats, White nuns, Black nuns, English zebra finches, Society finches, a starling, and diomand doves -

I have bred all the species mentioned, except The 2 types of nuns, and the starling -

Bishops are so cool when they nest, as they build huge nests and court the females at them - she then does all the work of rearing the babies -

The bishops in my picture were going to get thier terrably long nails done, BTW, (they grow verry fast! You have to trim them monthly!) right after these pictures, but If I had done that before the picture was taken, thiers no way they would have sat still for a photograph
