I was wondering??? What is your finches/ canaries favourite fruit and vegetables, and how do you give it to them???

For my waxbill, for example I will cut a thin slice of apple and use a metal clip to clip it to the cage.The waxbill enjoys pecking at the apple.

Also, I will cut up the brocolli florets, and put it in a small dish, something to peck at, and a healthy treat.

You can almost, never have to many pets

Paulie (canary) loves broccoli! He eats either from a food cup or food dish. Doesn't matter. He attacks it immediately and soon has a totally green beak.

Hmm.... I dunno, Its had to say -I have a mixed flight, and put in daily a chopped mix of carrot, bannana, broccoli, sometimes string beans, mango, papaya, apple, grapes, collard greens, orange, and whatever else is on hand via friuts and veggies -

All I know is that at the and of they day, rarely is anything left in that bowl -

I know my Red bishops favorite is thier daily mealworms - They come shooting by like rockets to get them

Raven -

My finches love corn and peas. They also very quickly devour the sprouts I feed them - I sprout my own. They also like grass in the summer - we do not treat our yard, and I save a small section to grow longer - they love it!
